Phased Reopening
Phase 6
All Libraries are now open for browsing and computer use.
All Adams County Library System locations are open regularly scheduled public hours for walk-in browsing, computer use and more.
Public computer use is available at all branches. The one-hour time limit remains and color and black and white printing is available. Photocopying, scanning and FAX services are also available.
Masks are required for library users 2 years and older to protect our visitors and our staff.
Library to Go, our takeaway service, remains an option.
Place your holds using the online catalog or call the library and a staff member will place the holds for you. You will receive notification when your items have been retrieved. To have your items checked out and ready to go, please call to schedule a day for the Library to Go service.
Masks are required when picking up library materials.

The exterior book returns must be used when returning library materials.
As quarantine of library materials is the most effective known method of disinfection, all returned materials will be quarantined for 7 days before check-in. In order to accommodate this time lag, check-in will be backdated to the date of return. While your library record may show that items you have placed in the book returns are overdue, you will not be accruing fines.
Although the quarantine period will not affect fines, we are unable to adjust our circulation system to remove the overdue status of items until they are checked in. Access to some online resources, such as cloudLibrary, may be affected by this time lag.
Please do not place donations in the book returns or leave them outside any of our libraries.
Due to quarantining requirements, we cannot accept donations at this time. While the Library System and the Friends of the Library are grateful for the book donations they receive throughout the year, we must pause donations until further notice.
