The Adams County Public Library (ACLS) seeks an energetic, personable, and innovative individual to fill the role of Eastern Regional Manager. The successful candidate will be able to lead the operations of two library locations, its programs, its services, and its staff into the future through collaboration and clearly established goals.
The Eastern Regional Manager is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of libraries in New Oxford and East Berlin including supervision of staff, maintaining a positive relationship with patrons, support collection development, and building and maintaining relationships with community partners. This position also works as part of a team to coordinate shared public services programs and services throughout six locations across Adams County. This position will work closely with the Public Services Librarian and Youth Services Librarian to maintain and enhance patron experience throughout the county.
Work is performed within the context of policies and framework of the Library System as embodied within the Mission Statement, Purpose, Core Values, and policies set forth by the Library Board of Trustees. The successful candidate must have a Master’s in Library Science or Master’s in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited program or within 6 months of completion of an ALA accredited program. The successful candidate will be skilled at building strong relationships and collaborating with others with a
particular emphasis on providing excellent customer service.
Salary for this position will be $53,000 per year. Adams County Library System also offers an attractive benefits package including medical and dental insurance, 401k, and more.

The Adams County Library System has the following position opportunity:
Full-time Financial Coordinator (40 hours per week) – Rate of pay: $15 -$16 per hour depending on qualifications.
This position provides vital Finance and Admin support for the Adams County Library System through customer service, basic accounting/bookkeeping tasks, payroll and benefits services, financial analyses, and clerical support. Monday through Friday. Minimal weekend and evening hours required periodically.
Must possess and demonstrate attention to details and excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills. Position requires flexibility as well as the ability to prioritize assignments. Proficiency in utilizing computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs (word processing, desktop publishing, and spreadsheets) and PC based accounting software (QuickBooks Online).
Prior bookkeeping experience required.
Minimum Education: High School Diploma required; college degree a plus. Experience working in an office with public contact required.
