The goal for Twisted Sisters is to share our love of fiber arts by hand spinning. We meet monthly, the third Friday from 10-12, and welcome anyone interested in learning about spinning and spinning wheels.

On the first and third Thursdays of each month, bring your machine and current project. This group gets together to work on charity quilts as well as personal projects. Beginners welcome.

We hope to engage our readers by offering books with a variety of story lines, genres, pacing, characters, and moods. Mostly we read fiction, but may include one or two nonfiction titles over the course of the year.

Adults and Teens

Drop in and try a sparkly diamond painting project. Bring your own, or a kit will be provided for your first session. Easy to learn and hard to stop. Join the addictive trend!

Adults and Teens are welcome. Register your own team of 3-4 people, or we will help you join up with others to create a 3-4 person team at this Jigsaw Puzzle Contest. All teams will be provided with the same 500 piece puzzle.

Join us at the New Oxford Library for a monthly Saturday afternoon screening of a classic film.

This program is for teens and adults with developmental disabilities and other needs.  There will be a craft and other activities to participate in.

Come relax and enjoy an afternoon of diamond painting. Participants will have several options of summer-themed paintings to choose from, varying from keychains, plant stakes, and more.

Pineapples are trending! These tasty tropical fruits are not just a popular decoration in the summertime, they have been historically known to symbolize hospitality in early America.

Let’s take an adventure exploring parts of North America.  Our first stop will be visiting beautiful Alaska. The Second stop will happen at the majestic national parks out west in Arizona and Utah.

Join us all summer long for adventure films for the whole family! Stop by the library for a complete list of films. Light snacks will be provided.

Writers of any level and any genre (fiction, poetry, nonfiction, etc) are invited to this group! We'll be honing our craft together with some prompts and also have space for critique and discussion of projects at any stage.
