A Home for YOUR History:
The New Adams County Historical Society Museum/Education Center

Want a peek inside the new building under construction on Biglerville Road? The Adams County’s new home, due to open in April 2023, will house more than a library and research materials. Our museum, Gettysburg Beyond the Battle, will include 5,000 square feet of interactive exhibits with over 500 original artifacts, some dating from the prehistoric age. Two 360-degree immersive “experiences” have been designed to capture the interest of young people, and visitors can learn the civilian stories of what it was like to live in Gettysburg before, during, and after the famous battle.

Join Antigoni Ladd, Board member of the historical society, for a preview of the new building and learn how this education center/museum/event site can not only preserve stories from the past but keep your history alive for future generations.

Mrs. Ladd is CEO of Tigrett Leadership Academy, which she co-founded with her husband more than 30 years ago. She has designed leadership workshops based on historic role models from the Civil War, WWII, the Lewis & Clark Expedition, and the Battle of Little Bighorn, and she will happily talk for hours on Eisenhower, Lincoln, Churchill, Eleanor Roosevelt, and other legendary leaders.

Registration Required.
