Other Ways to Give
Ways to Give Beyond Today
The Adams County Library System gratefully accepts a wide range of charitable gifts, many of which may provide significant tax benefits for you as a donor. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, your gift may be eligible for maximum tax advantages under federal law.
Gift Options Include:
- Appreciated Securities: Gifts of stocks, bonds, and mutual fund shares.
- Real Estate & Personal Property: Gifts such as real estate, antiques, artwork, or collections may be accepted upon review. Please consult our gift acceptance policy.
- Life Insurance: A policy no longer needed for financial protection can become a generous, tax-smart charitable gift.
- Retirement Assets: You can name the library as a beneficiary of your IRA, 401(k), or 403(b) plan. Donors aged 70½ or older may also make Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) directly from an IRA.
- Bequests: Include the library in your will to make a lasting impact for generations to come.
Before initiating a gift, we encourage you to contact the Adams County Library System’s Development Office at 717-334-0163 or development@adamslibrary.org, and to consult your financial or legal advisor.
