During this session, children ages 8 and up can learn how to play spoons, following in the Appalachian tradition where two teaspoons are held in one hand and played as a percussion instrument.

Ever want to learn how to play an instrument? In this session, Simple Gifts will demonstrate ten folk instruments to the group.

Visit the library to build with Legos!  We will work to complete different challenges each week and also have time to just create.  Each week we will have a different lego kit to raffle off to those who attend.

Magician Mike Rose presents a magic show that is not like other magic shows. The show consists of impossible magic tricks and off the wall comedy all themed around friendship and kindness.

Teens will help to guide children through activities.

It's fun to make new friends and play together.  We will use our imaginations to create games.

Some of these will be used for our Carnival on August 4.

Today is International Day of Friendship. Come celebrate with some funny friendship stories by Jory John and make some new pals here at the library. Geared toward children 4-8, but all are welcome. 

Bring your kids to the library during summer break and learn how to diamond paint!
