ABOUT THE COURSE
The course will be taught by Julie Falk PhD, who is certified to teach Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and therapeutic yoga. It is an experiential course where participants learn mindfulness and relaxation techniques and develop a way of looking at the world that invites less stress, discomfort, and anxiety. Materials are shared that support the development of a home practice. People have found that cultivating mindful practices helps them to co-exist with difficulty in their lives, such as stress from many causes, chronic pain, depression, or anxiety.

Class 1 is “Mindfulness Foundations: Presence in the Body.”
Class 2 is “Cultivating Awareness and Focus.”
Class 3 is “Mindful Movement and the Cultivation of Calm.”
Class 4 is “Working Mindfully with Difficulty.”
