CANCELED: Cyber Attack Preparedness and Response
Wednesday, April 12
6:30PM
The United States Internet was originally designed by the Department of Defense (DOD) government in the early1970’s.  The goal of designing the Internet was to develop a platform to promote more "communication interoperability" with the United States Federal departments and agencies.  However, today the Internet has become a “digital battlefield” in which adversaries attempt to exploit this communication platform through sophisticated cyber-attacks.  The objective of these asymmetric attacks is to gain financial rewards or acquire government trade secrets to undermine democracies.
The goal of the Cyber Attack Preparedness and Response discussion is to focus upon the Tactics, Techniques and Plan’s (TTP’s) in responding to the emerging cyber-attacks.
