Join us once a month for our music and movement storytime, and move and groove along with Miss Jess! Best suited for ages 2-5.

Stories for all ages followed by a simple arts and crafts project. 

The goal for Twisted Sisters is to share our love of fiber arts by hand spinning. We meet monthly, the third Friday from 10-12, and welcome anyone interested in learning about spinning and spinning wheels.

Our littlest artists get to explore the world of colors through different styles of art. This program can get messy so be sure to wear clothing you don’t mind getting dirty. 

Bring your diamond painting project and join other diamond painting enthusiasts for a fun crafty afternoon! 

All needle crafters are welcome to join.

Don’t know how to knit, crochet, or cross-stitch? That’s okay! Bring your own materials and be ready to learn!

On the first and third Thursdays of each month, bring your machine and current project. This group gets together to work on charity quilts as well as personal projects. Beginners welcome.

Children ages 5-12 are invited to the library to learn how to decorate cookies with royal icing. Registration Required

Join us for a drop-in knitting time for knitters of all levels. Don’t know how to knit? Stop by and learn! Conversation and creativity abound.

For Adults and Teens. Drop in and try a sparkly diamond painting project. Bring your own, or a kit will be provided for your first session. Easy to learn and hard to stop. Join the addictive trend!

Come paint Kindness Rocks with us! Take your rocks home, then make sure to hide them in the community to spread color and kindness in the world. 

Join us for card making classes on the third Wednesdays of the month with Kathy Freeman. Limited seats available - please register online or by calling the library! Please note there will be no Crafty Cards Class during the month of December.

Sitting down to color a picture can be as effective as meditation in reducing stress. Drop by the New Oxford Library during our adult coloring sessions to see for yourself. All supplies provided. Sessions may include music and refreshments.

Drop into the Teen Center to get creative by drawing or painting your own unique picture. We will also have coloring books available. Meet other art lovers and share your work! There will be an optional prompt every week for inspiration.

In this challenge there is just one rule: you can only use flat LEGO pieces! Your kids will let their creativity flow as they work on their fine motor and spatial awareness skills. Build a design, take it apart, then build another.

Ages 5-12. Use your imagination and building skills to make colorful paper sculptures to take home. Also, as a group, we’ll create an amazing sculpture out of newspaper to be displayed in the library.

Join Kara Boehne-Mile for a beginner’s cookie decorating class! Each participant will learn basic techniques and receive a dozen cookies to take home with a few small "tools of the trade" and a packet of information.

This group meets on Mondays at 6:30 pm via Zoom.
