Tweens and Teens

This educational program is brought to you by the Monterey Bay Aquarium.  If you’re ready to make a difference this is the program for you. Learn about conservation and ways you can take action to help our planet.

Read the book and then watch the movie.  Discuss both and decide which was better.  For those 13 and older.  The first 5 registrants will receive a free copy of the book, additional library copies will be available to borrow.

Already know your basic chords and want to expand your playing? Come jam with Will and try out more intermediate to advanced techniques, including learning songs, writing your own riffs, playing solos, and playing in a group setting!

Spend the day competing with friends to dominate the tabletop! Select games from previous sessions will be made available. Registration is preferred.

Attention Teens! Come to the library for a night of learning how to use an Evo Robot. Make it dance, sing, and even talk through the simple tasks.

Attention teens and tweens!

Join us every Friday for an adventure on (or under) the deep blue sea, from killer sharks to pillaging pirates. B.Y.O. Snacks, or enjoy the snacks provided.

Challenge yourself solo or with a team of up to 3 to build the tallest possible tower in 30 minutes! The winner will receive a small prize. We will also have voting on the most interesting tower, so try to spice it up as much as you can!

Join your friends to watch your favorite anime series or check out something new. Meeting select Fridays over the summer. Registration is preferred and dates are subject to change.

Glitter makes everything great!  Layer fruits by color for a healthful, rainbow snack.  Then, dress up your fruit with a glitter cup and fork. 

Ages 11-18.  Registration required.

During this 1 hour block, teens ages 11-18 can come by and participate in games, crafts, and all kinds of other activities. Events night topics are usually chosen by the Teen Advisory Board. No registration required.

UPDATE: Due to scheduling conflicts, Choreography & Dance is taking a break for the month of August. Weekly classes will resume September 1st with a new start time of 6:30p.m.
