We’ll meet at the High Street entrance of the Gettysburg Library.  As we walk, we’ll talk about the books that we’re currently reading and our favorite authors.  The walk will generally last  45 minutes to an hour and a half.

Create your own science journal and dive into this interactive event on sharks provided by Monterey Bay Aquarium. Learn why sharks are amazing and their importance to the ocean. - they are more than toothy predators. For children ages 6 to 11.

Lego Club is for Lego lovers of all ages.

Each week there will be a specific and different challenge with time at the end to just be creative.

Hey teens! Come to New Oxford Library to make fun, sea-related snacks that will look too good to eat!

Calling all mermaids.  Join us at the library for mermaid theme tea party fun.  There will be a story and a craft.  Light refreshments will be served.

Tear back into Marvel Munchkin and other deck-builders like Rumble in R’lyeh and Cryptozoic.

Sign up in May and early June to participate in our summer-long table tennis league. Records will be kept of each Wednesday’s matches, and a prize will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places at the end of the summer.

We'll have a short storytime and lots of fun early literacy activities for children who are entering kindergarten at Biglerville Elementary School in the fall of 2022!

After challenging your body with table tennis, come in and challenge your mind in our chess league. ELO rating will be calculated for all games played, and prizes will be awarded at the end of the summer.

Are you a beginner at chess and want to learn? Are you an experienced chess player and want to test your skills? Drop in on Mondays from 6:00pm-7:45pm to watch and play with a local chess aficionado. All ages and all skill levels welcome!

Meet some Seeing Eye puppies and hear how 4-H puppy raisers care for them. Puppy raisers are foster families from all walks of life, who nurture and care for puppies from The Seeing Eye until they are about 13 to 16 months old.
