This storytime is geared toward children age 3-5.

For these storytimes children will participate in school readiness activities.

May is National Get Caught Reading Month! Join us for a storytime about reading books, and take a scavenger hunt around the children’s department to see if you can “catch” any furry stuffed animal friends reading. 11:00-11:30 am.

Bring your machine and current project. This group gets together to work on charity quilts as well as personal projects. Beginners welcome!

Award-winning poet and flash fictionist Alba Sarria holds a group for adults who want to write, hang out with fellow writers, and push themselves creatively.

This is a drop-in knitting time for knitters of all levels. Don’t know how to knit? Stop by and learn. Conversation and creativity abound.

At this time we ask all attendees over the age of 2 to wear a mask during the event.

Join the Harbaugh-Thomas Anime Club to watch and discuss various series and films! We meet every other Friday starting on March 4th in the Harbaugh-Thomas Teen Center.

This Storytime features stories and a STEM activity for preschoolers and Kindergarteners.

Ages 5-12. Harness the power of the force to create several spiffy Star Wars crafts!

Drop in the first Wednesday of the month from 4:00pm-5:30pm for some old-school video gaming. For tweens and teens.

Calling all Padawans and those one with the force.  Join us at the library for Jedi training and for other Star Wars activities and crafts. Costumes and Star Wars outfits are encouraged.

This program will be chosen by the Teen advisory board and all teens are welcome to attend.

Do you like friendly competitions? Or challenging yourself to learn new things? Join us for fun activities, games, and contests. Club attendees choose the themes. 

Learn competitive gaming techniques, introduce yourself to new and different games, and socialize with other video game lovers in the Harbaugh-Thomas Gaming Club! The club will meet weekly on Tuesday evenings in the Harbaugh-Thomas Teen Room.

Are you a beginner at chess and want to learn? Are you an experienced chess player and want to test your skills? Drop in on Mondays from 6:00pm-7:45pm to watch and play with a local chess aficionado. All ages and all skill levels welcome!

Reading to a therapy dog helps to build confidence in new or reluctant readers.  Bring your child to the library to read to Danny, our favorite pup!  He's a great listener!

Join architect Walt Geiger in person at the library as he hosts this virtual “walk” around the National Historic District of East Berlin.

Daryl Despres, Pennsylvania Master Naturalist, will discuss the geology and formation of the Catoctin Mountain, early inhabitants, European contact and settlement. 

This program is for children learning to read or who need practice reading!

KPETS are trained therapy dogs who love to listen to children reading to them.
