Street Stories: Writing Oral History

Local librarian Robin Wagner will discuss her recent book, Street Stories, a compendium of childhood memories collected from those who lived on her suburban Pittsburgh street in the late 1950s and 1960s. Her talk will focus on how to conduct an oral history project, how to structure it from the beginning and how to find “missing persons.” She will also share the challenges, surprises and bittersweet moments she encountered along the way.
