The Other Gettysburg: A WWII Brief

Everyone knows Gettysburg's pivotal role in the U.S. Civil War. But what is less known is its other roles including WWI and WWII.This session will introduce some of the other important roles and some humorous history of our small town. Come learn how a young Eisenhower ran afoul of a local hotelier. Learn why the Presbyterian Church is called the "Church of Presidents". See some of the famous (and infamous) visitors who visited. Learn about some of the lesser known contributions to WWI and WWII our town played.
