RaShaun Latimore, an educator certified in Mental Health First Aid, brings the lessons of her children’s book, A New Word for Jas, to Gettysburg teachers, parents, children, and other interested parties Inspired by her childhood experiences, RaShaun’s debut book fosters joy, confidence, and resilience while addressing loneliness, anxiety, and self-discovery themes with empathy and hope. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to this interactive session, which features activities exploring the book’s key messages.
