Program Description

Description

Wind down your week by watching a classic film and coloring. We’ll be watching a classic Marx Brothers film where they spoof the opera world as a penny-ante promoter promises to arrange entrance into high society for a wealthy dowager if she antes up $200,000 as a patron of the arts. Plenty of gags and music. Watch for the famed "stateroom scene," where untold amounts of people squeeze into tiny quarters on a ship.  Released in 1935, this film was inducted into the National Film Registry in 1993.  The runtime is 92 minutes, rating is TV-G.  Coloring supplies will be provided.  Registration Requested.
