Barbara Landis returns to explore the connections between Carlisle Indian Industrial School (CIIS) students and Adams County families. Several dozen CIIS students were on “Outing,” living and working in area households and businesses for months at a time. Barbara brings a wealth of knowledge about the history of the CIIS, in operation from 1879-1918.
