The Daniel Lady farm is located on Hanover Road in Gettysburg. It was the site of the left flank of the Confederate Army's Second corps. Major General Edward Johnson's division arrived the evening of July 1 and set up camp on the farm. Their fighting at Culp's Hill brought hundreds of wounded to the Daniel Lady farm. The book takes a look at the events at the farm, the situation with both the Confederate army and the family, and what happened after Gettysburg.
