Program Description

Description

Get ready to have fun practicing and learning basic first aid and outdoor survival skills! Join us as the Scouts of Troop 125 present us with a hands-on lesson of the skills they have learned including multiple ways of knot tying for practical, useful and even decorative purposes. These are knot as easy as they look!

The Scouts will also show us important safety, first aid and survival tips including how to keep yourself and others safe if you ever get lost or are injured in the wilderness.  Who knows, you could save someone’s life or even your own with what you learn!

Lastly, the Scouts will demonstrate how to set up a campsite and how to navigate using a compass (in case your GPS doesn’t work). After this program you will have the confidence to explore the wilderness safely with all of your new knowledge and skills. Knot tying, wilderness survival and useful camping skills: What could be more fun?

Ages 7-17 years old. Registration is required as space is limited.
