What’s for dinner, Mr. Owl? We’ll be adventuring into the world of owls and, by dissecting owl pellets, discover “what’s for dinner” by identifying bones and other items. For ages 6-12. Registration required.

Drop in and try a sparkly diamond painting project. Bring your own, or a kit will be provided. Easy to learn and hard to stop. Join the addictive trend!

Let’s take an adventure exploring parts of North America.  Our first stop will be visiting beautiful Alaska. The Second stop will happen at the majestic national parks out west in Arizona and Utah.

Welcome the summer season in the Teen Center by creating your own chalk art on a poster for the library! Face painting, snacks, and other activities will also be provided for additional summer fun. Come celebrate the season with us!

Interested in getting into nature more, but unsure where to start? Need more information on what supplies you should bring on a hike, or what to do in case of an emergency in the great outdoors?

Staying Healthy in the Summer

Award-winning poet and flash fictionist Alba Sarria holds an all-inclusive group for adults (beginners or pros) who want to create, discuss, edit, publish, and actively do more creative writing.

Come to the library for a bunny storytime!  Listen to a rabbit story and learn facts about the care, handling, and feeding of a pet rabbit.  

You can even read a story to a bunny following the program!

Children from 0-18 months old may join us with their parent/caregiver for a few short stories and lots of singing and moving!

Stories, songs and movement for babies and toddlers! Free play afterwards.

Children ages 18 months - 5 years, join us for a story time with lots of movement, music, and engaging books.

What is a citizen? Park Rangers from Eisenhower National Historic Site will be joining us as we explore the answer to this question, and walk in the footsteps of one of Gettysburg's most famous citizens.
