My 1st Card

 

First grade is a time for children to learn to read.  We want to join in encouraging a thirst for reading by introducing every first grader in Adams County to the abundance of books, programs and electronic resources available through library membership.

Every September, Adams County Libraries and ACNB Bank team up for the My 1st Card library card program, and your first grader is invited to join!

Simply fill out an online application.  If you prefer, paper copies of the application are available at your child’s school; please return the paper copy to your child’s teacher or school building.

Prizes

With your first three visits to the library, you will receive a new prize to take home with you! Our third and final prize will always include the featured book of the year. This featured book becomes the center of our Campaign Celebration at the end of the 3-month program.


●    Visit 1: My 1st Card pencil or gel bracelet 
●    Visit 2: My 1st Card sports/book bag
●    Visit 3: A FREE copy of Matt Phelan’s book, What Are You Waiting For?, and an ACNB Bank® flying disc

 

 

 


Campaign Celebration & Author Visit

This November, the whole family is invited to join us in celebration of their hard working first-grade students! More information about this year's My 1st Card Celebration will be forthcoming.
