eBooks Galore

The cloudLibrary is your go-to source for eBooks from the library system.  Once you have the app downloaded and log in with your library card, you will have access to our growing collection, which currently has over 12,000 titles.  New eBooks are added to our collection on Fridays.
Why should you use the cloudLibrary?
1. It’s free and easy to use.  Simply download the cloudLibrary app and log in using your library card.  As long as your card is current and without fines or overdue titles, you will have full access.  If you have any issues downloading or accessing the cloudLibrary app, let us know, and one of our staff members will be happy to help you.
2. There are no fines or overdues.  There’s no issue with forgetting to return a book when you use the cloudLibrary.  It’s taken care of automatically for you.  Three weeks after you checked out a title, it will automatically be returned, which means, no overdue fines!  Now, if you haven’t finished reading the book, and if no one else has it on hold, you will be able to renew the book for another three weeks.  That ability will appear in the cloudLibrary app three days before the title is due to be returned.
3. Going on a trip?  There’s no need to fill your suitcase with books.  As long as you have the cloudLIbrary app, you have access to the library and our collection of over 12,000 titles.  You can also switch devices and continue reading from where you left off.  Started a book on your phone, but want to finish it on your tablet?  That’s not a problem if you have the app downloaded onto both devices.
4. In actuality, you have access to the eBook collections of two libraries.  In July we connected our cloudLibrary collection to that of Bucks County Library’s collection, which virtually doubled the number of titles that you have access to, to about 24,000.  Regular users of the app probably haven’t noticed a difference, but when you go into the Browse tab, or search for a title or author, you are actually looking through the collection of both libraries.  If Bucks County purchases a title that we don’t purchase, you will be able to find it in the app, as long as no one from Bucks County has it checked out.
Just a side note for audiobook listeners, check out the Browse feature of the cloudLIbrary app.  You will see many more audiobook titles there, thanks to the linking of the two collections.
So there are four reasons to use the cloudLibrary app.  You can find out more information about the cloudLIbrary or see what our collection looks like by visiting our website at www.adamslibrary.org.
