So, how do you get into your account in the new catalog?
Log On grants access to your account information, to write a review, to save lists and searches, to place requests, to add tags, and to view other library databases if applicable. Click Log On, located below Search Suggestions on the Titles search page or on the upper-right corner of the screen. An example is shown below.
When you click Log On, a dialog box appears, as shown below.
You have the option in this window to log in with your library ID and PIN or create an EZ Log On. An EZ Log On is a custom username and password that you set up.
To create EZ Log On credentials, click Log On located below Search Suggestions on the Titles search page or on the upper-right corner of the screen. When you click Log On, a dialog box prompts for your credentials. Type your Library ID and PIN credentials. Then click Create an EZ Log On, as shown in the example below.
After you click Create an EZ Log On, three additional fields appear, as shown in the example below.
Type a new user name in the User Name field. Your User Name is not case-sensitive and can be used with any combination of the following: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, symbols, and numbers.
Type a new password in the Password field. Some systems allow you to have a maximum of up to eight characters. Your Password is case-sensitive and can be used with any combination of the following: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, symbols, and numbers.
Re-type your password in the Confirm Password field. In the event you type two different passwords, a message appears advising, Both password fields must match. Re-type your password in both fields.
Please remember, you will only want to click the Remember Me button when you’re logging in from a personal computer, not a public computer in the library!
When you are finished, click Finish Creating Your EZ Log On.
