Do you Mango?

Mango is free for all library patrons, and offers a fast and convenient solution for our community’s increasing language-learning needs. Each lesson combines real life situations and audio from native speakers with simple, clear instructions. The courses are presented with an appreciation for cultural nuance and real-world application that integrates components of vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and culture. Users learn actual conversation, breaking down complex conversational elements within an audio-visual framework that allows the user to draw important connections between pieces of information they have already learned.

eBooks!

Our ebook program is going strong!  We hope that everyone who has been using it has been enjoying our selection.  We are doing our best to build a collection that has variety and is full of the titles you are looking for.

A few new developments have taken place over the past few weeks with the ebook program.

First, good news for Kindle Fire owners!

Even though Amazon has not yet signed onto our ebook vendor, we have found a way for you to have access to our books!  Instructions can be found here.

For Nook HD, Nook HD+, Nook Tablet or Nook Color owners…

The 3M Cloud Library App is now available in Barnes & Noble’s NOOK Apps store, making it easier for owners of NOOK tablets to borrow eBooks from local libraries. Anyone with a NOOK HD, NOOK HD+, NOOK Tablet or NOOK Color can download the 3M Cloud Library App directly from the NOOK Apps storefront, and then transfer digital content wirelessly to your device without having to physically connect to a computer.

And finally, the not so good news…

The Early Check In Feature has been eliminated from the PC app.  We want to assure you that our vendor hopes to be able to return the Early Check In Feature to the PC app at some point in the future.

If you are using the mobile app on any iOS or Android device, the Early Check In Feature is still available.

Columbus Day

We will be open regular hours on Tuesday.
