From June7 - August 7, read 8 books and tell us what you thought of the book!  Sign up online for the program at www.adamslibrary.org.  The teen who has read the most books by the end of the Summer Reading Club will receive a $25.00gift card to Walmart!

Saturday,June 5, beginning at 9am: Pirates Movie Marathon: Spend all day, or stop by during the day, to watch all three movies starring Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley. Registration is not required. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Thursday,June 17 at 7pm: Decorate Your Jeans: Have a pair of jeans you want to spruce up?  We'll supply the materials;you supply the jeans and have fun decorating! Registration begins Wednesday, June 9.

Friday,June 18 at 6pm: Teen Book Chat: Pick up a copy of Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen prior to June 18, read it, then attend the chat!  Enjoy pizza as we talk about the book.  Limited space is available, so registration is required; please only pick up the book if you can make the June 18 chat.

Saturday,July 24, beginning at 11am: Elvis Presley Movies: The King will be showcased in three movies. Grab some friends and enjoy some toe-tapping music!  Registration is not required.  Snacks and drinks will be provided.

Saturday, June 12, 2010:Saturday Afternoon Movie Event -  2:00pm -  Based on the children's book, this animated adventure follows a scientist who tries to solve world hunger only to see things go awry as food falls from the sky in abundance. This PG movie runs for 90 minutes. No registration required for this kickoff event!

Tuesday, June 15, 2010: Family Game Night, featuring Water Bingo - Win prizes in this game perfect for a fun family evening.  Registration begins Monday, June 7

Tuesday, June 22, 2010:Mom and Me Stamping Event - Make creative projects to take home with Build-a-Bear rubber stamps and dies from Stampin' Up!.  Registration begins Monday, June 14

Thursday, July 1, 2010: Thursday Night Movie 6:00pm- When the defiant Nemo takes off from his dad and gets captured by a tropical fish seeker he finds himself stuck in a fishbowl in a dentist's office. This G rated movie runs for 100 minutes.  Registration begins Wednesday, June 23

Tuesday, July 6, 2010: Water on the Moon - Miss Laura presents a program about the moon and water. Registration begins Monday, June 28

Tuesday, July 13, 2010:Evening Fun with Miss Virginia - An entertaining family event to be announced. Registration begins Monday, July 5

Tuesday, July 27, 2010 and Thursday,July 29, 2010: Artist Showcase - Open from 5:00pm - 8:00pm, come see the exciting entries in this year's showcase. No registration is required for those viewing the exhibit.

Storytimes will take place Wednesday mornings at 10:30am. There will be no Tuesday evening storytimes during the summer.  No registration is required.
